Aurelia tends to be on the shy and quiet side when around people she doesn't know, normally feeling awkward around them or in large crowds. Because of this, she doesn't tend to get noticed much unless she is with one her friends and joking with them. Part of this is due to the fact that under her shell she is a pretty happy and energetic girl who likes to joke and tease with friends while enjoying life. While at the same time she enjoys to study and is often found in the library reading or working on school work, part of the reason why she was sorted into Ravenclaw. Which is probably why she mostly seems bookish, despite it only being school books or books for assignments that she is reading while in school.
She is quiet graceful when not on the moving stairs, it ties into her fear of heights and flying as she can never seem to catch her balance whenever the stairs are moving. Due to easily getting embarrassed from her clumsiness on the stairs, it often leads to her ending up with some type of sprain or twisted ankle. Thus she has gotten quiet good at healing magic from having to do so every morning on herself, as her balance is worst on the stairs in the morning or when she is tried or not paying attention. But she is self taught mostly on healing magic, and she wished there was a class that covered healing magic as she wishes to learn more just for personal use.
She doesn't play quidditch but she does watches and support her house and pretty much all houses but the slytherins when the other houses aren't playing against her house. She isn't horrible at flying but she does have a complete fear of heights and flying, that makes flying hard for her if she doesn't school her emotions before hand. And an accident of a rogue broom in first year has put her off of flying, ended up breaking both wrists and forearms in multiple spots. However she is very active and spends more of her time out of school playing muggle sports, more skating (ice skating, skateboarding, skating) and snowboarding, as she finds those more fun and less dangerous than quidditch. Not to mention dancing, not just the traditional ballroom dancing that was part of her upbringing from her parents status, but also other types of dancing that was considered normal.
She is a bit of a girly tomboy who
likes to wear skirts but at the same time she can often be found in
jeans and a t-shirt or short shorts and an over-sized hoodie. That
was what she normally wore on the weekends and when not in the school
uniform at the school. Once she is home with her parents her clothes
change to a more punk or rock style that gives her a bit more joy and able to
not look like she was standing out for attention, plus she didn't
have to explain why she dressed so differently to classmates was her
main reason for the school outing clothes and home outing
clothes. Because of this, most of her clothes at home consist of rock band t-shirts, some dark corset shirts, and some type of pants, including a nice pair of leather pants and a leather short skirt, but mostly jeans, shorts, and short skirts that are only short after she leaves the house. But she knows she looks good and thus wears clothes that will often show off her body a bit more along with the type of style she likes.
As her mother comes from a slightly famous (has more than a few famous aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings in music, acting, modeling, and sports) and old world rich muggle
family, she was raised with the ideal of being a lady forced onto
her. That women were somehow the lesser sex and couldn't do all that
the males could. And her father's pure blood made it was doubled
enforced that she should be a proper lady of a house only without the
work that came from it. Due to this she rejects those view and often
does exactly what her parents tell her not to do, but will act like
the proper daughter when needed to.
The only thing that she really enjoyed that was forced on her was learning music and singing which was only suggested by her mother's parents due to it being tradition for them to learn how to play at least one instrument and sing. She learned the Piano and Guitar, upon her insisting on learning to play guitar if she had to learn an instrument which got a compromise of learning one of her mother's choice and one of her choice. And she had no problem with learning to sing just more what type of songs were expected for her to sing but she kept to the songs that were taught and learned on her own the songs she enjoyed.
Aside from that she had a very normal childhood, spoiled but normally given everything she wanted within reason... obviously she wasn't given a car when she asked for one as a gift for her tenth birthday. But most anything else she asked for from the pony to the puppies to any toy, it was gotten for her. Normally there was a catch though, such as having extra lessons or having to give up old toys that she didn't play with. Due to this she gained the love for learning, or at least the ability to enjoy it when it was on a subject she loved (which was anything to do with magic once her parents started to home school her on the basics of that).
Her father favors her a bit, thus making her a bit of a daddy's girl but that is majorly because he was the one to spoil her. It's also because of him that she has the freedom to be who she wants as long as she behaves in the public eye, both muggle and wizarding world. But her music tastes come mostly from him, as growing up her father often took her to see rock concerts before he decided to settle down and go to work for the Ministry and worked his way up to be an Auror.
Aurelia and her mother tend to be too headstrong with each other, always wanting their way and because of that they often fight over simple things. This is a bit due to her mother's upbringing and wanting Aurelia to follow it since it lead to her having such a wonderful life. However in the end, her mother always ends up making a compromise with Aurelia to get what both females want. But even with how her mother is, Aurelia often will give in unless she really wants something, to her mother's wishes when a compromise comes around. This is due to the fact that it's simply a fight over who has control, which her mother is starting to give her more control over her life as she was getting older.
Aurelia's maternal grandparents are normally the ones pushing Aurelia's mother into how Aurelia was raised when younger. While they had gotten some of their way, it wasn't always listened to the advice they gave. In fact Aurelia has very few memories with them or knows much about them aside from they are 'stuck up muggles' and she often compares them to the fanatic pure bloods who do inbreeding to keep a line pure. But every birthday, holiday, anytime a gift is given; she gets either a necklace, ring, bracelet, earring, or some type of expensive jewelry from them with real jewels in it and has been ever since she was a baby. Why she use to wonder before she noticed that every time it was the same brand, same style, and only the type of jewels changed and figured they just had someone else go and buy the gifts to send to her. Thus she often gives away the jewelry as gifts to her fellow students who don't normally get gifts for christmas, not that she lets it known that it was her that was doing it as she doesn't want the attention that would come from it.
Aurelia's paternal grandparents are estranged from her life, but this is more due to the fact that her father refuses to be part of their thinking of purebloods are better than half or muggle borns. Although she does have some memories of her paternal grandparents, mostly of them praising her singing and often wanting her to sing for guest at their parties. It was at one of these parties that she overheard some witch telling another witch 'such a shame that Dimitris married that dirty woman. He could have done much better.' and then got glared at by said witch as she had been looking for her parents after having gotten pulled away by her grandmother to play the piano and sing for some of her grandmother's friends. That was the last party she remembered going to until her teen years when somehow her paternal grandparents guilted her parents into coming to a wedding anniversary that they wanted Aurelia to sing at.
Unlike her maternal grandparents, her paternal grandparents often gave her birthday and christmas gifts of things that made more sense for a female. Rather it'd be proper young witch clothing or magical jewelry or even some magical toys, one was a toy broom that she loved to play with but ended up breaking it. But it was always something magic infused and magical simply because they wanted to make sure she had enough magical world influence too.
Her fear of heights (and slightly flying) comes from an accident that happened when she was seven years old and one of her muggle cousins thought it'd be fun to go up in a hot air balloon at an event. Her cousin convinced her and a few others to go up without an adult or someone who knew how to fly it, their reasoning was that they knew how. It was a disaster that had her father not realized they were in the balloon, they would have died (she might have just gotten seriously hurt due to her magic). Basically her cousin was starting to take it up too high, dumping all the weight while her other cousins were running from side to side, climbing on stuff to look over the edges of the basket better. All of this just ended up nearly making the balloon go too high up and it did get caught in a wind current that made the balloon basket move more with the only weight being four kids and one pre-teen with very little weight from the empty crates that her cousins were standing on. Her father had reacted before anyone else to apparate up to them and take them back down to the ground, having to remove her cousins memories of the event after. Not thinking it affected Aurelia, her father didn't remove her memories of it and then scolded her for what happened and how she should have told him about it before doing it.
She dreams of wanting to be a musician but knows that it more than likely won't happen.
Tattoos: A heart with an infinity symbol on her right hip that is placed to where it can be hidden by her bikini or underwear normally. Hidden with a spell she has a butterfly leaving a trail of musical notes and lines that wraps around her left ankle.
